Although this juban is traditionally worn as an undergarment, you can wear it in any way you like: as an outer kimono, a loose jacket, a robe or wall-hanging.
The silky outer-fabric has a shimmery sheen of slate blue stripes. On the middle of the back, a dazzling scene unfolds as a precession march descends from Mount Fuji. Carrying boxes of treasure and wearing traditional clothing, each figure is unique. A subtle pine forest grows on the bottom edge. |
