| Men's Black HAORI with Tranquil Itsukushima Shrine |
This sublime men's haori can certainly be enjoyed as a jacket, but its very beautiful lining is a work of art, perhaps to be displayed!
Inside the luscious black tone and five family crests of the outer-fabric, three serene views of scenic places in Japan can be seen. In the middle register, the gate and shrine complex of Itsukushima is at high tide, as a visitor paddles his boat to the pier. In sparkling gold, the entire scene comes to life with delightful details, like the deer in the forest to the right.
On the top and bottom registers, sailors enjoy open waters in silver and black. While one man paddles to a thin land bridge, another seeks a shrine upon a rocky island. Both are beautiful representations of the Japanese landscape. |
