| Wooden CAKE MOLD Lucky Tai Fish |

This beautifully carved wooden mold is traditionally used to make rakugan, a dry sweet cake for auspiscious formal occassions.
Though usually used for sweets, this mold can be used to shape anything, such as soaps or candles. It's also a wonderful antique to display in your home, or to give as a unique gift.
This wooden mold features a lucky tai fish, known for its good fortune during auspicious events. Hand-carved in stunning detail, the scales and fins are crisp and clear, while the face is wonderfully realistic. What a delicious rakugan! |
