Traditionally used as a box to hold untensils for smoking tabacco, this Meiji period Tobacco Bon is charming piece of Japanese culture.
This little box has three small drawers to hold any secrets you wish to hide, each handle in the shape of a cherry blossom. On either side, decorative groves are meant to hold the traditional pipe, while the metal container on top is for lighting and desposing of ashes.
Wouldn't this be a wonderful way of burning incense in your home?
