This elegant pale copper tone handled E-kagami mirror is a true treasure of the Edo period. With intricate detailing, this masterwork will make a wonderful centerpiece for your collection or fantastically unique gift!
A tranquil scene unfolds on the bronze side of this e-kagami. Graceful cranes soar in the sky and rest by a peaceful stream, shaded by an old pine tree and bamboo shoots. A mino-game turtle reveals his lucky tail of sea algae as he looks to one side. The background is made up of a shimmery textural pattern of tiny dots.
