She bends her knees just slightly with her hands touching one another in a pose of reverence. Her slightly peach cheeks give off a sense of real life upon her youthful, white face.
This fine doll is made by traditional Kimekomi techniques, in which a grooved wooden body is covered with kimono fabric and the cloth's edge is tucked into the grooved lines.

Small tear and small amount of glue upon the bottom of the piece, but this cannot be seen when the doll is displayed. Portions of the doll's hair seem to have slightly faded with age.
