This Furisode kimono is colored in such a beautiful, bright fuchsia that instantly appeals to us all!
Shell boxes and folding fans, both ornately painted with flowers, adorn the shoulders, hems and sleeves in clear, vibrant colors. Other traditional flowers like peonies, mandarin, nandine and plum flowers float among the dreamy vanilla clouds.
The top to bottom of the romantic flowing sleeves measure 36 inches, and the edges of the lining are blushed with blossom pink.
There are five family crests at the shoulder level proving that this was a most formal kimono when it was originally worn.
