Men's Black HAORI Sanbaso Noh Dance



This haori has an intriguing portrayal of a Noh character, Sanbaso on its lining.

With a mask on his face, a bell and a fan in his hand, this character performs a fervent dance expressing prayer for rich harvest.

A deep forest green background and gold and silver clouds in the air adds a mystic ambience to this wonderful dance from the oldest Japanese theater.

The exterior is a beautiful smooth black silk with five family crests at the shoulder level.

Condition There are a few fold lines along the hem of the lining, but these are not visible from the outside. There is one very fine scratch mark on the upper right back panel on the outside.
