This postcard represents the costume of a Nara period (710-794) official displayed at the Jingu Choko Museum in Ise city, Mie prefecture.

The collection at the Jingu Choko Museum contains various shrine treasures and garments, including historical documents which reflects the history of the Japanese ways of worship at the Jingu Shrine.
